2K/4K resolutions not available?

I'm trying to get 2K+ resolutions to work with SPICE/QXL and QEMU 2.2 (Ubuntu Vivid) on the host and Ubuntu Trusty on the guest. Currently the highest resolution is 1920x1200... I tried increasing the QXL video memory to 128MB from 64MB, but that didn't seem to make a difference, is there something simple I'm missing perhaps?

Below is the QEMU command that I'm using:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
