Thanks Nicolas

FYI:
When I added nomodeset after "quiet splash" in ubuntu /boot/grub/grub.cfg.
The missing letters issue was gone. It works.

The user experience of ubuntu guest is still bad.
I already disable all graphical effects in ubuntu CompizConfig.
Any suggestion for best practice is appreciated.

And there are some issues:
For example, in guest the file name will less some letters.
This looks like a bug
Maybe Qiang hits this bug?

The kernel parameter "nomodeset" usually improves the situation - may
be worth a try. Hope that helps :)

Have a nice day!

Kind regards,
