Have you read those instructions:https://elmarco.fedorapeople.org/manual.html#_folder_sharing ?

I tried doing the below setup:

<devices>
    <channel type='spiceport'>
        <source channel='org.spice-space.webdav.0'/>
        <target type='virtio' name='org.spice-space.webdav.0'/>
    </channel>
</devices>

then used libvirt commands to start a previoiusly working image and:

# virsh edit win7
Domain win7 XML configuration edited.

root@toolbench64:/etc/libvirt/qemu# virsh start win7
error: Failed to start domain win7
error: internal error: process exited while connecting to monitor: 2015-02-03T21:51:19.176492Z qemu-system-x86_64: -device virtserialport,bus=virtio-serial0.0,nr=1,chardev=charchannel1,id=channel1,name=org.spice-space.webdav.0: virtio-serial-bus: A port already exists at id 1 2015-02-03T21:51:19.176579Z qemu-system-x86_64: -device virtserialport,bus=virtio-serial0.0,nr=1,chardev=charchannel1,id=channel1,name=org.spice-space.webdav.0: Device 'virtserialport' could not be initialized

Ideas how to work around?

Thanks,

John Griessen
