asciidoc syntax highlighting is ok with XML (but non-syntax highlighted is
different, but still ok imo), but looks random and distracting on qemu
command lines, so I would not say a2x output looks much worse.


it doesn't have symbols/icons either. There is no need for an intermediate docbook translation. I am pretty sure a2x depends on asciidoc, so it should be fine using both tools
