The 0.65 release was 10th Oct last year and the last git commit on the
qxl driver was Sept 9th. Is there somewhere I can find out what has
changed in the new version?
I think the only change is that It contains WHQL'd qxl driver for W2k8R2.
I tried yesterday and it did not installed the qxl driver on my VMs
running Windows Server 2008R2. It installed the spice-agent service,
but it fails to start, I presume because the qxl driver wasn't
installed.
And I could not find the qxl drivers on the archive, at
"$_OUTDIR\win2k8r2\amd64\" or "$_OUTDIR\win2k8r2\x86\". It looks
like they are included only for Windows 7 and XP.
Yup, I haven't updated the installer to take this into account, so this
probably is not getting shipped/installed.
So How should get (and install) the binaries for the QXL driver for
Win2k8r2? Just wait for an updated installer?
