As promised earlier I'm putting together the steps for building the
windows version of virt-viewer
Ah, virt-viewer used to default to a gtk+2 build, this was changed recently
to a gtk+3 build, this explains why you needed these. You could try
building --with-gtk=2.0
That worked perfectly thanks Christophe, no dependancy issues and no
crash (build from master).

Any plans to put this new build somewere for other windows users?

It would be nice if someone tried virt-manager besides virt-viewer and virsh. :-)
