Hi everyone, Using the latest spice-guest-tools-0.2.exe it still sometimes happens (~10% of the time) that the vdagent does not start when the Windows 7 guest is started. It was previously suggested here that I would try to start it manually. As can be seen in the log files below, this does not work. To the untrained eye it would appear that the vdagent starts normally but that it is actually the vdservice that fails. Below is the vdagent.log. The 832 entries are from the initial boot. The entry after that is when I tried to restart the service. 832::INFO::,000::run::***Agent started in session 1*** 832::INFO::,000::log_version::0.5.1.0 832::INFO::,000::consistent_displays::#qxls 0 #others 1 832::INFO::,000::connect_pipe::Connected to service pipe 832::INFO::,000::send_announce_capabilities::Sending capabilities: 832::INFO::,000::send_announce_capabilities::37 832::INFO::,000::input_desktop_message_loop::Desktop: Winlogon 832::INFO::,000::read_completion::vdservice disconnected (109) 832::INFO::,000::run::Agent stopped 1552::INFO::,000::run::***Agent started in session 1*** 1552::INFO::,000::log_version::0.5.1.0 1552::INFO::,000::consistent_displays::#qxls 0 #others 1 1552::INFO::,000::connect_pipe::Connected to service pipe 1552::INFO::,000::send_announce_capabilities::Sending capabilities: 1552::INFO::,000::send_announce_capabilities::37 1552::INFO::,000::input_desktop_message_loop::Desktop: Default 1552::INFO::,000::input_desktop_message_loop::First display setting 1552::INFO::,000::load::loading display setting 1552::INFO::,000::reload_from_registry::explorer pid 1784 1552::INFO::,000::reload_wallpaper:: 1552::INFO::,000::reload_wallpaper::wallpaper wasn't disabled 1552::INFO::,000::reload_font_smoothing:: 1552::INFO::,000::reload_font_smoothing::font smoothing value didn't change 1552::INFO::,000::reload_animation:: 1552::INFO::,000::reload_win_animation:: 1552::INFO::,000::reload_win_animation::reload window animation: success 1552::INFO::,000::reload_ui_effects:: 1552::INFO::,000::reload_ui_effects::UserPreferencesMask = 80073e9e 12 1552::INFO::,000::read_completion::vdservice disconnected (109) 1552::INFO::,000::run::Agent stopped The corresponding (I think) vdservice.log is attached below.
