All:

I have successfully connect usb printer from my spice-gtk client (ubuntu 10.04 32bit) to the VM(WinXP) in server.
the vm can find usb printer and driver is installed (EPSON LQ-630k).
however, the printer in VM always report error when we try to printer anything.

Is there any special configuration we missed ?

No but there have been a lot of bugfixes to qemu's USB emulation as
well as to usbredir since the versions which you have installed.

You could try using for example Fedora-17, with the virt-preview
repository added to get the latest versions of everything and see
if that fixes things.

Hans
