Suspend-Resume support in sparc64 kernel?

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

I've asked this question at the Linux power management mailing list, and it was recommended I ask it here [https://lists.linux-foundation.org/pipermail/linux-pm/2008-October/018793.html].

Basically, I've long been aware that my Ultra 10 was capable of supporting suspend to RAM under Solaris, and confirmed this feature under the name Suspend-Resume from here [http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/805-4433/6j46udqi7?l=en&a=view&q=power+management].

I could find no evidence that the Linux sparc64 kernel supports this power management feature, nor the Auto Waking feature. Does the Linux sparc64 kernel support the Suspend-Resume pm function?

If not, is there some historic reason for this?

Thanks in advance,
Shaddy
