I compiled the 2.6.20-rc4 + patch kernel overnight, and just built a RPM
package on my x86_64 box over NFS without a hitch (this was a sure way to
kill NFS before), so I think this is fixed. I'll holler if something else
shows up during the day.

AFAIU, the bug is not SPARC-specific, so the patch should also go into
2.6.19.3 (.2 was just released).
