How do the 'chorus' parameters translate to the 'flanger' parameters?

Ah, I don't know, but it would be useful info to be able to make

another test case that compares chorus and flanger output

that should be identical. In fact, the SoX chorus, phaser and flanger effects

all seem to be different implementations of the same basic algorithm

with different capabilities for different use cases.
