If I were going to stretch an audio file, I'd do it with DFTs and interpolation but SoX doesn't have that yet so we're left with a choice between two rather crappier algorithms to choose between.


That "stretch" doesn't get the overall time right is a separate issue so in the meantime, should we make what we've got work as it should?


If you file an issue, it will get fixed in finite time.
