Precondition do modify session parameters. Precondition state is part of session parameters.
The point is that if SDP only refresh "precondtion state table", it has no impact on the commitment of session modification.

True, but normally those UPDATEs are not going to modify session parameters.
So, yes, it may happen, but I think we should recommend against doing so.
