This is a new modification request with precondition, not a precondition notification. And as RFC3311, if the other side can not accept it at once, it should reject the modification request by 504. So, I think it(the UPDATE) should be rejected here.
Then, let's taklk if the other side accept it, what will happen.
IMO, commitment of UPDATE/200OK with a new modification MUST be rollback, as the new modification has nothing to do with the original modification triggered by Re-INVITE. Accepting the new modification request by UPDATE is a radical behaviour, but it should be responsible for it.
And this modification committed all its media type, audio2 and vedio2.
And it should be pointed out that UPDATE/200OK with new modification during or outside Re-INVITE should have the same effect.
Question:
If the same UPDATE/200OK is outside Re-INVITE. My proposal's state is audio2 and vedio2.
And what is Gonzalo Camarillo's proposal's state.
