Hey, For that service in /etc/hosts.allow it would go like this: in.telnetd : 192.168.14.154 Also be sure that telnet is uncommented in /etc/inetd.conf and that it is running. I have compiled OpenSSH on rh6 and 6.2. Probably want to get in the habit of using that even though you are probably on a private network.
