I have strange problem with tripwire.
When i change the policy file i run
[root@/etc/tripwire]# tripwire -m p --update-policy twpol.txt
and i got always at the end
======== Step 2: Updating the database with new objects.
======== Step 3: Pruning unneeded objects from the database.
Policy update failed; policy and database files were not altered.
But if i use twadmin tool to update the policy file i have to problems.
twadmin -m P twpol.txt
Please enter your site passphrase:
Wrote policy file: /etc/tripwire/tw.pol
After this i always run tripwire -m i
I have redhat 7.2 and after the install i run the twinstall.sh
and did what the quickstart.txt says.
Any ideas why this happens?
