Unless you are in the defence/national security arena, these concerns are
not relevant and as a newbie you shouldn't be involved in providing that
level of system.  The classifications go beyond the technical level and I
would think that any completely open source system would have some
difficulty achieving such security ratings.

Perhaps more interestingly, the COE requirements are based upon the 'wisdom'
at the time they were written and were there to reduce compatability issues
amongst others.  It might be more appropriate to argue as to whether the DII
COE is keeping pace.
