Hi everyone
Thanks for all the advice the past few weeks on Netfilter and IPTables. One
more question. I did some traffic shaping but it seems I can't shape
incoming mail traffic. My setup is as follows. I have a cisco router which
serves as gateway to the internet and the behind the router I have my linux
machine which is doing the shaping and bandwidth management. Is it correct
if I assume if the router is accepting the data at a rate it will only be
shaped between my router and my Linux server because the router is the first
device for incoming traffic. Do I have to do the shaping on the router?
