Hello, I'm having problems installing RedHat 7.2-EN on VM (VM/ESA Version 2 Release 4.0, service level 9904). The computer is a model 3000 7060 H30. I've installed about 10 instances of SuSe and the Marist version of Linux on VM so I'm not totally new to this. Any help would be appreciated. Currently the RedHat ftp site is overloaded so I found a mirror site at redhat.in-span.net and I'll assume the files are ok at this site. I've got the install kernel up and the networking part is ok. When I run "loader" I've tried both NFS and FTP but seem to run into problems. I've downloaded the following files from FTP directory /redhat/redhat-7.2-en/os/s390/RedHat/base/ at redhat.in-span.net and have them set up as both NFS and FTP on an Intel RedHat 6.2 server. 11/21/2001 12:00AM 20,685 comps 12/03/2001 12:00AM 1,453,760 hdlist 12/03/2001 12:00AM 11,190,840 hdlist2 12/01/2001 12:00AM 7,958,528 hdstg1.img 12/01/2001 12:00AM 29,622 list 12/01/2001 12:00AM 7,921,664 netstg1.img 12/01/2001 12:00AM 10,991 packages.all 12/01/2001 12:00AM 5,788 packages.default 12/01/2001 12:00AM 4,884 packages.desktop 12/01/2001 12:00AM 1,454 packages.minimal 12/01/2001 12:00AM 6,084 packages.server 12/01/2001 12:00AM 36,155,392 stage2.img These files are located at a directory /RedHat/base. This is what happens when I try to FTP from my RedHat 6.2 server. It seems to always want to add another instance of /RedHat/base to my path. If anyone has run into this problem and could help me out it would be appreciated.
