RE: [Redhat-s390-list] loading from DASD

Todd,

It really does look like you have to create your own .iso files. The
rhsetup script assumes that whatever file name you give it is an ISO9660
file system (.iso file), and tries to mount it on the loopback device.

Subject: [Redhat-s390-list] loading from DASD

        RPMSERVER=ftp://your.ftp.server/your.s390.rpm.dir
        RPMSERVER=ftp://user:password@your.ftp.server//your.s390.rpm.dir
        RPMSERVER=http://your.http.server/your.s390.rpm.path
        RPMSERVER=IP:/dir
        RPMSERVER=dasd[a-z][1]:<dir>/<CD image 1>,dasd[a-z]1:<dir>/<CD image
2>

So, I want to load from DASD. Does that mean i need the .iso images? I
assume
this isn't an option since the .iso images are not available (or i would
need to
create my own)? I've copied all the files to dasd and tried variations of
the
rpmserver parm with no luck.
