You're not installing an SRPM, you're installing the binary RPM.  (If you
were, the file name would have bee s390utils-20011212-1.src.rpm.) Once
you've done that, you should be able to run the script to load the cpint
module, and then be able to execute the hcp command (as root).

I am having a great deal of trouble with tring to intall the cpint package.
I have tried to uninstall the rpm and  and force reinstall,  under the
usr/src/redhat/SOURCES/ directory,  there are not .gz or bz2 files.
Please provide steps on  how to get this to install.

[root@esll06 dionne]# rpm -Uvh s390utils-20011212-1.s390.rpm --force

   1:s390utils              ###########################################
[100%]



[root@esll06 SPECS]# rpm -bb cpint.spec
error: File /usr/src/redhat/SOURCES/cpint-SuSE.tar.bz2: No such file or
directory
