The newest version is currently the "rawhide" version as on ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/rawhide/s390 or ftp://ftp.redhat.de/pub/s390/. Please note that "rawhide" might anytime change into a unstable version again for the next devel cycle. > Also, it was mentioned that 7.2 is based off of kernel 2.4.9, but the IBM oco > modules are 2.4.7. We will go on maintaining a stable branch of the Red Hat Linux kernel based on 2.4.9ac10. On the OCO modules: Current state is that until now no working OCO modules are available. Hope we get testing successfully completed soon, but we don't have any official timeschedule on this we can communiate. > > Finally, in the US, where's a list of the closest mirrors to get the s390 code? Don't know, sorry. Some mirrors don't carry the "rawhide" part etc. cu, Florian La Roche > > On Thu, Dec 06, 2001 at 03:23:16PM -0800, Danny wrote: > >> Forgive me if is seems like I've only partially been paying > >> attention (!) but is > >> ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/beta/7.2-s390-RC2/ > >> the right place to get this, or is it ftp://ftp.redhat.de/pub/s390/ ?? > >> The former seems more complete, but the latter is newer. > > > RC2 is not changing anymore, but stays the way it has been at the time > > we have released it.
