We're working on the stability of the installer, especially concerning the
partitioning/formatting stuff. A (now fixed) kernel bug returned wrong
partitioning data to our installer ;-(

We've already found and fixed this one, but thanks for the bugreport.
Please don't let yourself be put off by those bugs, that's what beta tests 
are for.
