Hi...I was having a problem with lcs.o yesterday.
I picked up the new code off ftp.redhat.de today,
and indeed, the module now loads, but I'm getting
a channel check when it accesses the OSA.
This would not appear to be legitimate:
I am able to use the device with a 2.2.16 kernel
system I have on hand.

On my nfs server, I mounted vminrd22.bin via loopback
(losetup) and replaced /lib/lcs.o with the 2.2.16 version
from that system.
Using that, I was able to successfully load the module
and start my network.

I'm not sure what you can do with this info, but there it is.
Danny
