I am not sure if I should have posted this in rpmbuild mailing list or in rpm project it self (so I'm gonna post in both of 'em).
I have created a rpm package using rpmbuild and thins apparently went smooth. I got no error and only one warning indicating my host name cannot be canonicalize.
I got the .rpm file in the relative folder, but when I'm trying "rpm -i mypackage.rpm" I get "error: unpacking of archive failed on file: cpio: Archive file not in header".
I get " mypackage.rpm: sha1 md5 OK" for "rpm -K" and "-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 62089 Nov 6 18:37 mypackage.so.1.3.2" for "rpm -qvlp" (my package is a C++/Qt library).
I have a post[1] in SatckOverflow for my spec file, and I think it should be fine, although that's the only where I can think of modifying to make this work.
I read on internet that some say this could happen due to buggy version of rpmbuild or rpm. I am using RPM 4.9.1.2
