Prelink is perhaps the most common *cause* of checksum mismatches, so if anything you'd need to *undo* any potential prelink before packaging the files. See eg https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=437608

FWIW, Fedora 8 is truly ancient and hasn't been supported for several years now. You really should look into upgrading to a more recent version that actually gets security etc fixes, or if Fedora moves to fast for your purposes, to a distro that provides long-term maintenance.

Even I tested %verify(not md5) /path/myFiles to ignore the md5 verification.

%verify() affects verification (ie 'rpm -V' operation), not installation.
