-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I'm seeing odd rpm query behavior on a 64-bit system, and maybe someone can explain the reasoning behind this to me. Specifically, I'm seeing this on FC5-64bit. If I do an "rpm -q libcap.i386" on a system where no libcap version is present, I get a message "package libcap.i386 is not installed" and a return code of 1. However, if I execute this query on a system where libcap.x86_64 is present, but libcap.i386 is absent, I get no output from RPM, and a return code of 0. Why would this be happening? - -- Marcin Krzysztof Porwit mporwit@xxxxxxxxxxxx #include <stddisclaimer.h> -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFEx+Jo4OZU6cX5VBERAhr6AJ4s+yi4NJefZL5/EN+tOJn7vccrhgCfbV+d mR4hD5gF7LPq8OZ+e2z2Oi4= =yXUo -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Rpm-list mailing list Rpm-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/rpm-list
