This is the first time I post here, so please tell me if this question
should be asked somewhere else.
It's a problem that recurs often, I get a failed dependencies error when
installing an rpm when I shouldn't, eg:
$ rpm -i rpm-build-4.2.3-9mdk.i586.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
automake is needed by rpm-build-4.2.3-9mdk
$ rpm -q automake1.5
automake1.5-1.5-1mdk
so i *do* have automake, but it's under a slightly different name..
any suggestions? thanks..
