Hi,

I'm using %{_libdir} in my spec files. On x86_64 platforms, as I install
the RPM, it still points to /usr/lib. Instead, I want to use /usr/lib64.

You'll need to *build* on x86_64; macros are expanded then, not at install
time.

I'm already building on x86_64, however the result is below:

[root@server SPECS]# cat /etc/redhat-release
Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES release 3 (Taroon Update 6)
[root@server SPECS]# uname -i
x86_64
[root@server SPECS]# rpm -qlp /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/x86_64/compat-postgresql-libs-3-3PGDG.x86_64.rpm
/usr/lib/libecpg.so.4
/usr/lib/libecpg.so.4.1
...
