No, this is not possible.

But it is possible to provide/require virtual packages.
Example: sendmail and postfix both have a "Provides: smtpdaemon".
An application requiring some SMTP mailer may have a
"Requires: smtpdaemon", a condition satisfied when sendmail
and/or postfix is installed.
