How to distinguish rpms from public keys in rpm -q

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello,

is there any way for distinguishing 'real' RPM's from public keys when
querying the rpm DB (via rpm -q)? Relying on the %{PUBKEYS} tag is not
sufficient (e.g. the rpm RPM has a pubkey attached), and relying on the
%{NAME} (e.g. gpg-pubkey) is hacky. Why are RPMs and pubkeys
listed(treated) the same way?

thanks in advance,
German
