Ah yes, good point.  Thank you for correcting my oversight!

Hello All:

I was wondering if there were any known repositories of the latest RPM
source code? I understand that I can get the latest copy of RPM from
the CVS instructions found at http://www.rpm.org/cvs_help/; however, I
the official ftp site seems to be out-of-date.

For instance, there is no source code past 4.1. There are RPMs for 4.2,
but no tar.gz's. And then, the 4.3.x and 4.4.x branches aren't
available. Am I correct in assuming that everyone else just grabs stuff
from CVS nowadays?

ftp://ftp.rpm.org/pub/rpm/dist/rpm-4.2.x/rpm-4.2-1.src.rpm <-- grab that
and pull the tarball out of the rpm.
