=>Hello,
=>
=>i had the problem that when something goes wrong by Installation or
=>Deisntallation and files or database entries for the package already deleted,
=>i dont know how i could erase the rpm entry.
=>The deinstallion script ask for files or database entries that didnt exist
=>anymore.
=>The only way i found is to copy the asking files to the locations the
=>deinstallation routine wants it. But that is to complicate in some cases,
=>cause i already had to rebuild database entries and so on.
=>
=>Thanks Thorsten

If you know what the files are and you can just manually delete them
(worst case) then all that would be left would be

rpm -e --justdb pkgname

No?
