Figured out the issue, You need to compile with the following options to get it to work properly.Building current CVS with the branch id of 4.4.2, everything builds ok.
But when I try to create the databae for RPM I get the following errors
No RPM database found... Creating database...
rpmdb: Berkeley DB library configured to support only private environments
error: db4 error(22) from dbenv->open: Invalid argument
error: cannot open Packages index using db3 - Invalid argument (22)
This build is done on a LFS system for a mipsel based machine, works fine on a x86.
