Re: install rpm within an rpm package pre or post install?

thanks for the reply,
we are running a big app on redhat which we install with rpm. they want everything to be installed with one rpm. Now we need to add a package to the os and they do not want to have 2 different packages to install... I'm thinking they need to use something else now e.g. (up2date, apt-get etc).
