I am successfully building a binary RPM. I then turn around and try and install the RPM on the build machine via rpm -i. At that point, I get a number of failed dependencies: rpm -i i386/sbradmin-ent-1.0-1.i386.rpm error: Failed dependencies: libasound.so.2 is needed by sbradmin-ent-1.0-1 libasound.so.2(ALSA_0.9) is needed by sbradmin-ent-1.0-1 libjava.so(SUNWprivate_1.1) is needed by sbradmin-ent-1.0-1 libnet.so(SUNWprivate_1.1) is needed by sbradmin-ent-1.0-1 libodbc.so is needed by sbradmin-ent-1.0-1 libodbcinst.so is needed by sbradmin-ent-1.0-1 libverify.so(SUNWprivate_1.1) is needed by sbradmin-ent-1.0-1 There were no complaints during the build process. And I am installing on the same machine that I built it on!!! How can I figure out what is going on? I can't find anything in what I am packaging that depends on these files. -- Greg Allen gallen@xxxxxxxxxxxx _______________________________________________ Rpm-list mailing list Rpm-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/rpm-list
