Don't bother put /bin/sh in manually - it figures it out from intepreter
used in %pre/%post.


Thanks, I'll delete this dependency from the SPEC file, infact the three /bin/bash lines are, as you said, the dep I wrotemyself and the two shell commands in the %install section ;)

Do you have anything like

AutoReq: no or AutoProvReq: no in your spec.


No, neither in the spec file nor in .rpmmacros file.

What rpm version are you building with?


RPM version 4.1.1
