Hi
All-
I'm managing an embedded system with rpm. My upgrade process passes a
complete list of package filenames to 'rpm -U' (version 4.2). I've
discovered that when the total size of all my package files combined exceeds the
amount of space in /var/tmp, the rpm transaction fails (cpio, no space on
device). Does this sound like expected/correct behaviour? Is there any way to
reduce rpm tmp-space requirements for one big transaction?
Thanks...
-Aaron
