RPM 4.3.2 - Build from CVS Issues

I have ran into a lot of issues building the current RPM-4_3 branch from 
CVS. I have figured out most of the issues, but I have I can't solve, 
and frankly I don't think it's a RPM issue itself but a glibc issue.

I am building on with GCC-3.4.1 and glibc based on 8-23-2004.

Any suggestions are welcomed
