Thanks, I'll try that in the morning.  It looks like from the 
output I was getting that the args of a macro are not recursively
evaluated.  I might be missing something though.

When I get the time, for a perhaps quick fix, would evaluating args
be a good thing, or might I cause some severe breakage?
