hi,

contents of $HOME/rpmdb (on the machine i want to install)are the
following binary files. i have permission to read and write and i copied
them from /var/lib/rpm/:

Basenames
Conflictname
Group
Name
Packages
Providename
Requirename
Triggername

both the machines have MACHTYPE=i386-redhat-linux-gnu. i dont know what to
do now.

Command 'uname -a' also gives the same output on the two machines(except
for the quite obvious differencs).

plz help b'coz it need it urgently.my work is pending due to this.

regards
garima
