Greetings, here at the RULE project we are currently stuck with the following problem: > > to fit on a boot floppy and into small RAM, rpm for Fedora Core 2 > > must be compiled statically against a slimmed-down clib, in > > Slinky's case busybox. Any comments/pointer/suggestions about how to do this? Right now I have nothing else to provide because I just got the message above from another guy, and I installed FC2 only two days ago, am still restoring stuff from backups, etc.. I will try to reproduce and post the exact error found during compilation of rpm, but in the meantime any feedback is welcome. Thank you in advance, Marco Fioretti -- Marco Fioretti mfioretti, at the server mclink.it Red Hat & Fedora for low memory http://www.rule-project.org/ Needs are a function of what other people have. _______________________________________________ Rpm-list mailing list Rpm-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/rpm-list
