Compiling rpm against clib

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Greetings,

here at the RULE project we are currently stuck with the following
problem:

> > to fit on a boot floppy and into small RAM, rpm for Fedora Core 2
> > must be compiled statically against a slimmed-down clib, in
> > Slinky's case busybox.

Any comments/pointer/suggestions about how to do this?

Right now I have nothing else to provide because I just got the
message above from another guy, and I installed FC2 only two days ago,
am still restoring stuff from backups, etc..

I will try to reproduce and post the exact error found during
compilation of rpm, but in the meantime any feedback is welcome.

Thank you in advance,

Marco Fioretti
