Hi ... It is because of "Warnings are treated as errors" So remove the "-Werror" compiler option in Makefile.in and Makefile.am in the directories lib,libasm,libebl,libelf etc...of elfutils before configuring. I also faced similar problem during the build of rpm-4.1.1 using uCLibc....
