Hi,
Our application supports relocation
using "--prefix" option. After the
application is installed, when we do a query , the "Relocations" field does not reflect the relocated
directory.
For ex :
rpm -i --nodeps --prefix /home/xyz/CSCOPerfE <RPM pkg
name>
rpm -i --query CSCOPerfE, shows the
following in the "Relocations" field :
Name :
CSCOPerfE Relocations: /opt/CSCOPerfE
Version : 2.1 Vendor: Cisco Systems, Inc. The /opt/CSCOPerfE is the default
installation when no --prefix is given.
Is there a
way, we can change the Relocations field to reflect the path specified during
the non-default installation using --prefix option.? Or is this the expected
behaviour.
Any help on
this is greatly appreciated.
