I need concurrent read-only access to the RPM database. We are running RPM rpm version-4.0.4-7x.18, but could upgrade if necessary. We are running Redhat 7.3 (and that cannot change.) I *thought* I read that this version of the database should support concurrent access, but it does not seem to be enabled.
