With 4.2-1 from rpm.org didn't show a rpmpgp.c delta.
Is this something that was merged into the main-line 4.2?

Ok, I found the answer to this question: No. 4.1 to 4.2 only adds pgpArmorWrap to rpmpgp.c. So if it's in mainline, it was merged before that, but I'm guessing it hasn't been.
