Hi, I often use rpmbuild -ba spec --define="optflags -O3" or so to override the RPM_OPT_FLAGS variable used when building an rpm. Now I realised that this only overrides the optflags for the first package being built. If I give more than one spec file on the rpmbuild command line, optflags will revert to their default setting for the second package and all following. I'm sorry if this is an FAQ but is this a bug or a feature? If it is a feature: How do I override variables like optflags globally?
