Is there a way to get rpmbuild to display the BuildPreReqs given a
spec file, but without initiating a build?

A quickly hacked solution is available at

http://www-user.tu-chemnitz.de/~ensc/getdeps.c

The output is machine-readable; see 'rpmsenseFlags' in <rpm/rpmlib.h>
for an explaination of the flags.

Thanks! I'll take a look at it.
