Dear Bill,

Thanks. My system is a Toshiba notebook (Satellite 2410-404) and yes it uses the i810_audio driver.
But could you please let me know how I can resample it? If I know it maybe I can use the same approach for the festival program too.

This is stating that your sound card only supports 48kHz stereo; you
have to resample sounds for playing on such a device. I'm assuming you have
something using the i810_audio driver?
