You need to get your kernel type.###.config from
/lib/modules/(kernel version)/build/configs/ - is where it is now
to
/lib/modules/(kernel version)/build/ - where it needs to go.
you are basically moving it up one directory and renaming it
to .config. with nothing infront of the ( . ).
